Standard Damage Claims

   

iPhone Damage Claims

 
  Report your claim to our office immediately following the incident.           Upon receipt of your claim notification, our Claims Center will provide to you viemail an overnight shipping label.  
  Safeware will dispatch a box to bring the damaged unit to a repair facility for diagnostics and repair*.     Once received, simply pack up your damaged iPhone and either drop the package at a UPS drop box, or any UPS store.  
 

Once repaired the unit will be shipped back to you with all shipping charges being covered by your Safeware policy.

 

*Process can vary depending on type of equipment.

   

Once the damaged iPhone is received and examined a claim payment will be issued for your policy coverage amount, less your deductible. Coverage amounts are based on AT&T's replacement policy for current customers. 

 
           
 

All Theft Claims

 
  Report theft claims to our office immediately following the loss. You can report a claim online, or call 1-800-800-1492.    

Required documenation for any theft claim:

1. Statement of Events

2. Proof of Ownership

3. Police Report

 
  In the event of theft, be sure to report the incident to the local Police Department and obtain a copy of the police report. If the theft occurred while overseas please obtain a translation of the report.    

Non-iPhone claims are settled in one of two ways:

1. A replacement unit of like kind and quality

2. A claim payment equal to that of a like kind and quality unit available for purchase on the retail market, less any applicable deductible.

 
  Be sure to have a copy of your proof of ownership for all items being claimed.     iPhone Theft claims are always settled based on the policy coverage amount, less your deductible. Coverage amounts are based on AT&Ts replacement policy for current customers.  

 

Things To Remember

 

* Be sure to keep receipts and your equipment, including any upgrades performed after purchase.
 
* Do not proceed with repairs for non iPhone claims until your claim has been reported and instructions provided.
 
* Repairs take an average of 5-7 business days.
 
* Don't forget to update your policy in the event of a theft or total loss damage claim! Simply update your policy in the self service section of this site or call one of our licensed agents at 1-800-800-1492!
