SafewareESP for Cell Phones & Smartphones

 

SafewareESP Extended Service Plans for smartphone owners provides protection from the costly expense of parts and labor associated with mechanical failure AND includes coverage against operational failure due to accidental damage from handling, including liquid spills, water damage and drops.

 

Unlike other protection plans, SafewareESP provides full replacement coverage in the event you need to file a claim. Why does this matter? Most phones are sold at heavily subsidized discounts by carriers when you sign a new service agreement. If you need a replacement phone during your existing contract, you may not qualify for a discounted price, or you may need to sign a new agreement to get the discount.  With SaferwareESP there is no need to worry. The plan will cover the replacement of the defective phone with that of like kind and quality up to $1,000 per occurrence.

What is covered?

 

SafewareESP for cell phones and smartphones are available in 2 & 3 year terms. These plans provide coverage in the event your device suffers mechanical or electrical failure, even those resulting from normal use.

 

In addition, the SafewareESP plan for phones INCLUDES ADH. This enhances your coverage to also protect against operational failure from drops, liquid spills and water damage.

How are claims handled?

 

In the event you have a claim*, call 1-800-800-1492 or file your claim online.

 

Please note that proof of purchase for your device is required when submitting any claim.

 

Once your claim has been validated, the Customer Care team will instruct you on how to move forward with service. The SafewareESP cellphone and smartphone plans are replacement plans. You will be shipped a replacement product (when applicable) once claim has been validated. You will be require to ship the defective device back to the plan administrator. Failing to ship the defective product may result in you being charged for the replacement device.

Is there a deductible?

 

Yes. There is a $50 per incident deductible.
