  Damage Claims

 

Be sure to keep receipts and any upgrades performed after purchase.

  

Do not proceed with repairs until claim has been reported and instructions provided.

 

Report claim to our office immediately following loss.

 

  

In case of vandalism be sure to report the incident to the local Police Department and obtain a copy of the police report.

 

   Losses resulting from a fire require a copy of the Fire Marshall's report.

 

  Theft Claims

 

  

Be sure to keep receipts for all equipment and any upgrades performed after purchase.

In case of a theft be sure to report the incident to the local Police Department and obtain a copy of the police report. If loss occurred overseas please obtain a translation of the police report.

 

  

Required documentation needed for theft claims:

1. Detailed Statement
2. Proof of Ownership
3. Police Report

 

How does it work?

 

* For damage claims, Safeware will dispatch a box to bring the damaged unit to a repair facility for diagnostics and repair. Once repaired the unit will be shipped back to you with all shipping charges being covered by your Safeware policy.
 
* There is no deduction for depreciation. In the event of a total loss, the replacement would be based on like kind and quality equipment available on the retail market at the time of claim adjudication.
 
* Repairs take an average of 5-7 business days.
 
* Don't forget to update your policy in the event of a theft or total loss damage claim! Simply update your policy in the self service section of this site or call one of our licensed agents at 1-800-800-1492!
