Our History

  • 1982

    Safeware, The Insurance Agency, Inc. was founded to service the insurance needs of customers using technology for business and education.

  • 80s

    Over the next decade, we expanded our programs from our home state of Ohio to all 50 states

  • 90s

    In the early nineties, Safeware added a Portable Electronics product to address the increasing mobility of electronics. The nineties were also a time of significant adoption of technology within education, both k-12 and higher learning institutions.

  • 2000s

    The 2000s witnessed a cultural shift with mobile electronics becoming part of everyday life. Technology continues to evolve at a breakneck pace. During this time, Safeware diversified its product offering to also include furniture, appliances, and fitness.
